Television Shows
My buddy Colin just posted his list of television shows that he DVRs (the actual name, not "TiVo" for you unawares) and watches every episode. He came up with 10. Here is my list, in no particular order. What about you?
- CSI
- CSI: New York
- CSI: Miami
- Grey's Anatomy
- Private Practice
- Numb3rs
- House
- Bones
- Law & Order
- Law & Order: Criminal Intent
- Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
- Without a Trace
- Cold Case
- Family Guy
- Simpsons
- South Park
Other "seasonal" shows that are not currently on right now.
- The Closer
- Reno 911
Now you might think to yourself, "my word, Dean watches television like an addict." You'd be correct. In my defense, however, we typically watch less television than they average American (we tend to be 3-4 weeks behind at any given point), three of those shows are 20 minute cartoons, and interestingly enough, it's something Giles and I enjoy doing together. We actually break off onto tangents about world views, artistic decisions in the shows and the like about everything from character development to crimes committed. Those of you that have had the opportunity to talk with me about visual media and the arts (especially television and film) understand where this is coming from.
Needless to say, I watch too much TV.
