While admiring a McDonalds toy of a girl wearing a midriff shirt and roller blades:

April (she's 7), to me: "Do you know why her stomach is hanging out?"

Me: "Why?"

April: "Because she's a teenager."

On this week's episode of the Fox crime drama Bones, a healthy baby was recovered from a car crash, leaving the nerdy scientists in the lab with a child to take care of. The funniest part was a short comment between an engaged couple in the lab (not the characters pictured).

After the girl picks up the baby,

Girl (to boy): Get used to this, because I'm going to want a million of them.

Boy: cool. [pause] By a million, you mean two, right?

I was cleaning the spam folder out this morning and came upon this email. I have attached a screenshot of the email header for your enjoyment. And you thought those types of names are made up.

There is a baseball player for the New York Mets named Angel Pagan. Just stare at that name for a moment, and comprehend how unfortunate that name must look on a baseball card. Or more ironically, in a church membership directory.

I was double-checking my email spam folder (I use Google Apps for my email, great spam-catcher there) and noticed several fake Google Adwords account emails. Considering I don't have an Adwords account, the best part is that they have such poor spelling in the subject lines. I knew this wasn't legit:

"Your Gogle Adwords Account Payment Has Been Stoped."

Are you surprised that I didn't open the email?

If you've ever watched CSI: Miami (yes, I'm a fan), you've surely gotten used to the strange and comical David Carruso one-liners right before commercial breaks. Little did I know that Jim Carrey finds Carruso quite funny as well. So humorous, in fact, that he did a Carruso impression on Letterman a year ago. Enjoy it below.

I'm no Che Guevera (especially considering as I'm late to this party anyhow), but a very real thing happened recently that'd be really funny, except it's not a joke. I'd link to tons of articles about it, but instead I'll link to Veronica Belmont's great description here and give you a brief explanation below.

Essentially T-Mobile's owner is suing a technology/gadget blog for use of a color they own the rights to, except that the rules only apply if Engadget (the website) was selling a similar product, blah, blah, blah basically it's a load of crap. So here's a cute logo put together about it.

Last week in Starbucks I discovered a fare-card for the DC Transit System. On the back, I found instructions, apparently for tourists. Or idiots. I'm not entirely sure. I could go ahead and explain my take on the matter, but I thought I'd just share it with you instead and get your thoughts.

For those who don't know, Detroit's mayor has been in "hot water" of late after it was discovered that he and his female chief-of-staff were having a lengthy affair. This was discovered after an FOIA request by the local papers uncovered a series of text messages between he and she. Why is any of this important? Well, from the humor standpoint, my favorite local radio station, Sports Radio 1130 WDFN, put up this billboard on several Detroit freeways. I love it.
